In this video I’m taking a closer look at the arm braces for the DJI FPV drone. There’s a lot of opinions out there whether these are a good idea or a bad idea. In my opinion they generally are a good idea as it adds rigidity to the whole set up and spreads the load in the event of an impact. I have had one crash with the DJI FPV arm braces installed and my drone survived without damage. Now that may not be the case in every situation depending on how the drone crashes. I’ve flown hundreds of flights with the arm braces on and with the arm braces off and myself I cannot distinguish any flight characteristic differences. The drone is still responsive and agile when the arm bracers are installed.
